We are looking for a full-time (40 hours) Executive Assistant to provide support to our Executive Director and executive team in a variety of capacities. Duties for this position include: manage donor database system; manage board and committee related administrative tasks; assist with coordination of fundraising campaigns and events; website updates and social media postings; as well as assisting ED with a variety of projects.

We require that you have experience in a related administrative position; are self-directed and flexible; have a strong attention to detail; exceptional organizational, communication and customer service skills; Microsoft Office and computer experience. Must have own transportation.

Director of Development and Marketing

We are looking for a full-time (40 hours) Director of Development and Marketing to provide strategic oversight to organizational development efforts, including program and non-program funding, as well as marketing efforts which lead to program and agency growth.  Duties for this position include: oversight of strategic development  and marketing activities for a $1 million non-profit; managing an annual appeal, three-four annual events; donor relations; grant and sponsorship applications and reporting; developing and updating marketing materials and annual report; press releases; and managing and providing content for website and social media.

We require that you have a degree in marketing, communications, English, human services or related field and at least two years’ experience in a development or marketing position or five plus years of development; CRM database experience; strong customer service skills; excellent communication and organizational skills; Microsoft Office and computer experience; must be self-directed, with the ability to work well in a team atmosphere; and have a strong attention to detail. 

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and Salesforce experience.

Program Coordinator

EPIC – Every Person Influences Children is a non-profit agency that provides parenting, youth services, family engagement and professional development to families, schools and communities in an effort to help them raise children to be responsible and successful adults. 

We are looking for a full-time (40 hours) Program Coordinator who will be responsible for performing program related tasks for EPIC’s Family Engagement, Parenting and Youth Services departments. This position will coordinate contract and grant requirements; reporting for funders; publicity requirements; coordinating contract requirements; coordinating deliverables in Salesforce; outreach; press releases, and other program related tasks.  Coordinators become EPIC trained facilitator and will occasionally facilitate parenting and family engagement workshops.

The ideal candidate must be competent working with diverse cultural and ethnic populations; work well in a team and independently; have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; be able to multi-task, set priorities and be highly organized; as well as be comfortable speaking to small groups. Job Requirements include a flexible schedule to include occasional evenings if needed, must have reliable transportation and a background check required.

Education/Experience: Associates Degree and/or 5 years of relevant experience.  Preferred: Prior group facilitation and/or able to facilitate workshops; CRM and/or Salesforce experience; comfortable working with at risk participants, including those with mental health diagnoses; basic research skills; strong computer skills, bi-lingual.

Facilitator

EPIC - Every Person Influences Children is seeking organized and flexible Facilitators who can help us to carry out our vision, a world where every child has a strong start and a promising future.

At EPIC, workshops and trainings carry out the organization’s mission by involving the entire community in helping children make responsible decisions, understand and respect authority, develop positive self-esteem, plan for the future, and succeed in life.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Conducting Parenting Workshops at off-site locations in Erie County and Niagara County

-Following a facilitator agenda and manual

-Demonstrating the ability to be non-judgmental

-Managing challenging participants using suggested techniques

-Displaying the characteristics of cooperation and flexibility while facilitating

-Completing the Facilitator Certification Processes and ongoing trainings and certification as necessary

-Complete evaluations and recommend updates as appropriate

Minimum Qualifications:

-1-3 years’ experience in Human Services, Education or other related field

-Ability to disseminate and  deliver EPIC programming and complete EPIC Paperwork

-Desire to facilitate EPIC Parenting Workshops

-Good listening and communication skills

-Non-judgmental and sensitive to participants

-Reliable transportation

-Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs

Degree in Human Services, Education or other related field

Positions Available

This is a casual (as-needed) position and the need for facilitators is determined by funding and availability of facilitators. The Facilitator will report to the Facilitator Manager and maintain contact with them for information, guidance and feedback.
