1. Facilitator Coordinator

About the available position:

EPIC - Every Person Influences Children is seeking a full-time (40 hours) Facilitator Coordinator. This position will be responsible for supervising the agency facilitators including recruiting, interviewing, and ensuring onboarding and relevant trainings are completed. This position is expected to facilitate workshops on a regular basis and will assist with the appropriate implementation of contracts. Additional duties may include scheduling services, coordinating services, facilitating workshops, outreach to special populations of parents, writing reports, maintaining accurate records and statistics, monitoring grant budget lines, meeting funder objectives and outcomes, networking in the community and attending meetings as assigned by Supervisor.

 

EPIC is looking for candidates who have:

  • A passion for working with families, competency working with diverse cultural and ethnic populations, and is comfortable working with at risk participants, including those with mental health diagnosis.
  • Strong written and oral skills, comfortable speaking to groups with strong presentation skills.
  • Leadership and management skills and experience
  • Ability to work within a team structure as well as independently and contribute to a positive work culture.
  • Competent knowledge and experience working with Virtual Facilitation Platforms (Zoom, Teams, WebEx, Google Meets, Thinkific, etc.)
  • Data Management Systems experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated capability to conduct oneself in a calm and professional demeanor when dealing with people and/or with difficult situations.
  • Strong ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • A reliable, responsible attitude with a compassionate approach.
  • Effectively build and maintain external and internal relationships and provide a high level of service.
  • Industry experience might include:

> Education Professionals

> Childcare Professionals

> Human Service Professionals

 

Candidates are required to have:

  • Associate’s degree in education, mental health, social work, or a related field and 2 (two) years of related experience or a minimum of 4 (four) years of experience in a related field
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including working a mid-shift (11am/12pm to 7/8pm) and weekends based on programming needs.
  • Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Mandated Reporting Certification (EPIC willing to provide)
  • Reliable transportation


The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $48,000 per year and is negotiable based on experience.

2. Facilitator: Part Time/Per Diem

About the available position:

EPIC - Every Person Influences Children seeks individuals to facilitate EPIC programming. This is a casual (per diem/as needed) position and the number of hours a facilitator is scheduled for is determined by several factors including funding, workshop schedules, certification requirements, and individual availability. There is availability for virtual and in-person facilitation at a variety of locations in the community.

 

EPIC is looking for candidates who have:

  • A passion for working with families, competency working with diverse cultural and ethnic populations.
  • Strong written and oral skills, comfortable speaking to groups with strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to work within a team structure as well as independently and contribute to a positive work culture.
  • Demonstrated capability to conduct oneself in a calm and professional demeanor when dealing with people and/or with difficult situations.
  • A reliable, responsible attitude with a compassionate approach.
  • Effectively build and maintain external and internal relationships and provide a high level of service.

Candidates are required to have:

  • Associate’s degree and 1 (one) year of related experience or minimum of 3 (three) years’ experience in a related field.
  • Experienced with Virtual Facilitation Platforms (Zoom, Teams, Webex, Google meets, etc.)
  • Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Mandated Reporting Certification (EPIC willing to provide)



Special Considerations:

  • All EPIC Facilitators must complete training utilizing EPIC’s Dynamic Group Facilitation Training 4 hours for in-person and 4 hours for virtual facilitation. These trainings are offered at a variety of times and days. 
  • Some programs require additional evidence-based training certifications. These programs, including Triple P and Strong African American Families, utilize multiple day long training sessions.  Additionally, Mandated Reporter Training, Anti-Harassment training and others may also be required but provided by EPIC. 
  • Facilitators must be available to complete required trainings prior to delivering these specific EPIC programs, though every effort is made to provide trainings at convenient times and days.
  • The Facilitator will report to the Facilitator Coordinator and maintain contact for information, guidance, and feedback.

The salary for this position is $20.00 per hour. Total compensation is based on the number and length of the workshops that are facilitated (for example, compensation for facilitating a 1-hour attended workshop is $70.00 and for a 3-hour attended workshop it is $150.00).
