Buffalo, NY (8/22/19) – EPIC – Every Person Influences Children has been awarded a $15,000 grant from International Paper’s Buffalo, NY Sheet Plant and the International Paper Foundation. Funds will support EPIC’s Storytime at Canalside and Ready, Set, Read! programs.

BUFFALO (NY) - United Way of Buffalo & Erie County (UWBEC) increased funding for EPIC - Every Person Influences Children’s programs and services that support families and children. United Way awarded a total of $125,000 for 2019-2021 to support EPIC’s Families in Transition, Family Engagement, Early Care Engagement, and Just Teens/Incredible Years programs.

EPIC to Expand 2019 Car Seat Safety Program in Erie and Niagara County
EPIC to Continue Program for Pregnant and Parenting Teens thanks to support from the Garman Family Foundation administered by the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo.
EPIC has been approved as a KidCents charity in 2019, after a successful program in 2018. Funding from this program comes for the generosity of the community in which customers of Rite Aid round up their purchases to the nearest dollar and donate their change to a general fund that supports kid-focused charities.
