EPIC established the award to recognize schools or agencies whose work enriches school by engaging families in the education of their children. Gloria J. Parks Community Center sponsors the exemplary 21st Century After School Program.

EPIC – Every Person Influences Children is delighted to announce that Mary H. Gresham, Ph.D. will receive the Robert L. Wilson Award for Exceptional Service and Leadership.
 
Mary H. Gresham, Ph.D. has dedicated her life to educational support of nontraditional students. In her current role as Interim Dean of the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Maine, more than 40 years of service work at University at Buffalo, as well as numerous volunteer and board commitments to the community, Dr. Gresham embodies the leadership and service qualities that Robert L. Wilson, EPIC’s founder, lived daily.

EPIC Receives support from International Paper Foundation

Buffalo, NY (8/22/19) – EPIC – Every Person Influences Children has been awarded a $15,000 grant from International Paper’s Buffalo, NY Sheet Plant and the International Paper Foundation. Funds will support EPIC’s Storytime at Canalside and Ready, Set, Read! programs.

United Way increases funding for EPIC

BUFFALO (NY) -  United Way of Buffalo & Erie County (UWBEC) increased funding for EPIC - Every Person Influences Children’s programs and services that support families and children. United Way awarded a total of $125,000 for 2019-2021 to support EPIC’s Families in Transition, Family Engagement, Early Care Engagement, and Just Teens/Incredible Years programs.
