Buffalo, NY. September 20, 2018 - EPIC – Every Person Influences Children was proud to support Jericho Road at its Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 1021 Broadway in the heart of the Buffalo's East Side.
Jericho Road's new clinic occupies 8,600 square feet of a five-story, 110,618-square-foot building that will serve as a shared space facility for nearly a dozen nonprofits, including EPIC - Every Person Influences Children, and several others.
Other features will include radiology services through WNY Imaging, set to open next month; as well as a patient pharmacy and community fitness center that is expected to open next year.
The WNY Human Services Collaborative comprised of EPIC, Parent Network of WNY, Mental Health Advocates of WNY, Learning Disabilities Association, Spectrum and others have launched a capital campaign to raise the necessary funding for a build out of the space. This team effort will result in over 30,000 square-feet of space dedicated to the idea of shared space, shared resources and even more importantly, shared programming.
Jericho Road's successful launch was supported by many local elected officials and members of the funding community, along with other partners and collaborators. EPIC's Executive Director, Tara N. Burgess, was proud to speak on behalf of the Collaborative, noting that when fully occupied, 1021 Broadway will have the opportunity to provide services for families in a truly comprehensive way. Jericho Road is a beacon in the Buffalo community and the Collaborative is proud to be working together to build a future home at the site.
