EPIC response to COVID-19
To our valued community:
As you are aware, COVID 19, or coronavirus, has significantly impacted families across the globe. In light of recent developments related to this pandemic, EPIC is temporarily postponing all on-sight programming. We will assess the situation weekly and provide updates to those impacted. EPIC staff will work remotely, and offer a variety of phone, email and social media opportunities for sharing information, resources and support for families. Please however note that EPIC’s office at 1000 Main Street in Buffalo will remain closed until further notice.
WHAT WE ARE DOING:
We will notify you of any updates and resources available on both our website (click here for our complete Coronavirus Resources page) and Facebook pages. As schools close and businesses close, families will be tested in new and difficult ways. EPIC is committed to continuing to bring you parenting and family resources virtually. We will continue to update our website and social channels with ideas, strategies and resources to help.
WHO WILL BE THERE TO HELP:
EPIC's staff will move to a telecommute model this week. Please note that EPIC’s physical location in Buffalo will be closed, but we will continue to work with families. In addition to our website and social media pages, EPIC staff will be reaching out to current participants to check in and offer assistance. In addition, we are developing tools to deliver services remotely. Please continue to call or email EPIC as you have before, and we will be here to help. Our main number is (716) 332-4100, and this number will be manned daily during regular hours. You may also reach out to staff directly. Please visit our website for information on how to reach out by phone or email.
WHERE TO FIND US ON SOCIAL MEDIA:
As always, EPIC remains committed to ensuring every child has a strong start and promising future. We will remain transparent through the next several weeks as we continue to monitor the situation, and will continue to act with our staff and community's needs at the forefront of our decision making.
From the EPIC family to yours, we wish you health and peace during this stressful time.
