EPIC - Every Person Influences Children, has a long history of helping school districts meet the needs of their teachers and parents as they influence children in becoming academically successful, as well as capable, responsible adults. EPIC offers a series of services and products that address the most critical needs facing children and schools today:

  • Improving academic achievement
  • Involving parents to assist with academic achievement
  • Decreasing violence
  • Preventing teen pregnancy
  • Preventing drug abuse

EPIC services and products are based on the fundamental belief that parents, schools, and the community must partner to create the best possible chance for children to succeed in school and life. EPIC services are well-founded in the research that suggests:

Schools content bullet Parent involvement and positive home-school partnerships are known factors in improving a child's academic success.
Schools content bullet Good parenting practices and parent leadership increase resiliency factors and decrease risk factors for teen pregnancy, drug abuse, and violence.
Schools content bullet Developing character in the schools in partnership with the parents can improve student behavior in class and at home, as well as improve academic achievement.
