Promoting learning goes beyond encouraging your child to do well in school.  To be actively involved in your child's education and a partner with your child's teacher, you need to engage in activities that support your child's learning and go beyond the classroom activities and homework assignments. You and your child will gain as you interact and learn more about each other. The end result will be greater potential for your child's academic success, and equally important, an improvement in your relationship with your child.
