Now more than ever, children need strong character to help them make responsible choices on the road to adulthood.  EPIC recognizes that the family and the school share the responsibility of developing good character in children.  EPIC’s character education program, Pathways to Character, helps to accomplish this.

Combining a variety of services and products, the Pathways to Character program includes a subject and standards based character education curriculum for classroom teachers, a character–based parenting skills program and Master Guru, an online educational learning tool that is based on NYS learning standards and integrates character.

	Pathways to Character Program Pathways to Character training assists teachers in grades Pre-K-8, as well as administrators, in integrating an innovative, grade-level appropriate curriculum in the classroom, and creating a culture of character throughout the school.
	Master Guru Master Guru is an engaging, online educational learning tool designed for grades 3-8 as a fun, educational learning tool based on New York State learning standards. It can be used in the classroom, at home, or at school-wide events.
	Teacher Training This staff development for teachers, after-school, and non-instructional personnel discusses how to create a culture of character within a school.
